The Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore (CFES) announces Ahmed M. Ahmed, a 2017 Parkside High School graduate, has received a $5,000 scholarship from the Irene Culver Collins & Louis Franklin Collins Scholarship Fund. The Collins Fund scholarship is awarded to a graduating senior from Parkside High School who has successfully completed a minimum of three advanced placement social studies courses and two additional AP courses during their enrollment. Ahmed is attending Stanford University this fall, pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. Pictured are: Heather Trader, CFES Donor Relations Officer, and scholarship recipient Ahmed M.
