Paws and Friends Pet Sitting

On Wednesday, April 26, 2023, Paws and Friends Pet Sitting LLC celebrated its first anniversary with a ribbon cutting ceremony. Owner, Sharon Hurley, was joined by friends, and members of the Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce to commemorate the occasion.

A huge animal lover herself, Sharon has been pet/house sitting for many years. It began when she had to board their own dog for the first time and saw how traumatized the dog became. She shared with her guests “During Covid I did a lot of pets sitting for friends and they mentioned that I should start a business, and that is when Paws and Friends Pet Sitting started. It has been a super busy first year, but I love pets and love what I do. I had a client that had dogs, cats, a few ducks and like 30 chickens, and it was so much fun! Time frame of sitting can be from a day to a few months, I am flexible as long as I am available.”

Paws and Friends Pet Sitting LLC provides pet/house sitting services for your paws, feathered and fur babies for a bit or a long time while you are away. Serving Salisbury and surrounding areas, the business is fully insured and bonded and is committed to providing the best personalized pet care services.

Guests enjoyed catering provided by the Elks Lodge, as well as a choice of beverage; and door prize winners were able to pick between themed bags that included pet products, wine or beer items.
