Peninsula Wellness Campus Announces February 2021 Virtual Classes

During the summer of 2020, the leaders of the Peninsula Alternative Health medical cannabis dispensary relocated its facility and launched Peninsula Wellness, the Eastern Shore of Maryland’s first cannabinoid-focused, holistic health campus. Peninsula Wellness is focused on outcomes that improve the vitality and quality of life of the community, and the new campus allows the general public to explore an interdisciplinary approach to cannabinoid-based medicine with experts in the cannabinoid field.   • Sleep Support Through Cannabinoids – Lunch & Learn with Anthony Darby of Peninsula Wellness
    Wednesday, February 3, 2021 – 12:00 p.m. – 12:30 p.m.Sleep is critical to body and mind restoration. From sourcing products to considering what you are eating each day, join us on the Peninsula Wellness YouTube channel for another quick lunchtime seminar on understanding how cannabis, CBD, and other natural tools can help you get a greater night’s sleep! This virtual class is free!
  • All About the Heart! – Yoga with Jeri Miller of JAM Studios
    Wednesday, February 3, 2021 – 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, join return yoga facilitator and local business owner Jeri Miller for another amazing (and easy to follow) class that is all about opening your heart! Perfect for beginners and can be viewed at your leisure after streaming! This virtual class is free!
  • Brown Bag Medical Review with Riverside Pharmacy
    Friday, February 5, 2021 – 11:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Peninsula Wellness is teaming up with Riverside Pharmacy to bring you a comprehensive medication review. There will be a Registered Pharmacist on site to review items such as prescription medications, over-the-counter medications, herbs, vitamins, and supplements. Feel free to bring your prescriptions with you! This in-person class is free!

  • Dabbing 101 – Lunch & Learn with Anthony Darby of Peninsula Wellness
    Wednesday, February 10, 2021 – 12:00 p.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Complex for many but as simple as can be for others, dabbing is one of the quickest and most potent ways to medicate medical cannabis. Dabbing is a form of administration that has a life and merit of its own and for some, is the only way they find relief. Learn more about this fairly new technique and method of administration in another Lunch and Learn! This virtual class is free!

Cannabis can be more than just inhaled. In today’s time many can medicate by using various methods of administration such as tinctures, balms, and elixirs.   • Maryland Medical Cannabis Commission – Website Tour Lunch & Learn with Anthony Darby of Peninsula Wellness

The Maryland Medical Cannabis Commission develops policies, procedures, and regulations to implement programs that ensure medical cannabis is available to qualifying patients in a safe and effective manner. Without them, there would be no program in our state! They recently revamped their website and we would love to show you around! Join us for the last Lunch and Learn of February to gain a greater understanding into our state’s program! This virtual class is free!

  • Home Body Workout with Branden Hudson & Taylor McMahan of SBYMMA and Fitness
