The Haitian Development Center of Delmarva (HDCD) is proud to present its 3rd annual ‘Haitian Flag Day’ Celebration in Salisbury, MD on Sunday, May 19, 2024 from 3pm-8pm in front of the Government County Building in downtown Salisbury.
This is the HDCD’s main fundraising event to generate funds to support Haitian immigrants living on the Eastern Shore. The event will be a time to showcase Haitian culture by selling Haitian food, t-shirts, and other Haitian products, marching and parading on the streets, sharing the history of the Haitian Flag, and playing the Haitian style of music.
The HDCD is a 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to assist, educate, and empower the Haitian immigrants residing on the Delmarva Peninsula. Our services include, but are not limited to, school registration, jobs applications, and various social services.
We are looking for sponsors, financial donors, and potential vendors to participate in the event. If you cannot be a sponsor, we are asking you to at least be a vendor or financial donor.
