Salisbury, MD — The Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce (SACC) proudly co-hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony today to celebrate the grand opening of Dickson Physical Therapy’s new clinic at 329 Tilghman Rd, Suite 200.
A large number of Chamber members, clients, and community supporters joined owners Dr. Tanya and Tim Dickson in marking this exciting milestone. Guests were warmly welcomed by the Dickson’s and their dedicated staff, who showcased the new practice and highlighted the wide range of services offered.
Dickson Physical Therapy (DPT) is a locally owned, woman-owned, and veteran-owned outpatient clinic specializing in orthopedics, pediatrics, chronic pain, dry needling, youth sports, pelvic health, vertigo, and worker’s compensation injuries.
Dr. Tanya Dickson reflected on the clinic’s rapid growth, noting “This location came fast… it grew faster than any other facility I’ve ever had the opportunity to manage.” She emphasized the importance of her amazing team in creating a vision of excellent, personalized healthcare that avoids the corporatized, cookie-cutter types of healthcare. In addition, she reaffirmed her commitment to working with insurance to ensure care remains accessible, especially for those with Medicare, Medicaid, or SSI, while still offering one-on-one individualized treatment.
On the clinic’s name, she explained: “Dixon Physical Therapy is not about me at all. This is about the fact that Dixon Physical Therapy stands for DPT – doctors of physical therapy – doctorate-level clinicians providing high-quality, personalized care.”
Attendees enjoyed touring the new facility, learning about DPT’s services, and networking with fellow community members. The event featured light fare generously provided by Sam’s Club, along with festive giveaways including baskets and branded DPT swag items.
