Riegler and Tyler named Team Members of the Month for March 2025

OCEAN PINES, MD. & MILLSBORO, DEL. — TidalHealth Primary and Specialty Care is pleased to announce that Stephanie Riegler and Erin “Melissa” Tyler are its Team Members of the Month for March 2025.

Stephanie Riegler, RN, TidalHealth Medical Oncology & Hematology in Ocean Pines

Riegler was nominated by Amanda Russo for demonstrating the values of accountability, community, quality and service:

”Stephanie is the heart of our infusion center. While she was out on vacation for a few short days, I was asked ‘where is sweet Stephanie’ or ‘where is that delightful nurse Stephanie’ by dozens of patients. This really highlights the fact that Stephanie does not just work here and is not just a nurse — she truly has the most empathetic, soul-nurturing, loving and tender manner/nature about her.

The patients rave about Stephanie and her coworkers rely on her as a valuable and knowledgeable resource. She helped orient me to oncology when I started, and I knew after one shift that she was the most incredible RN I had ever met.

This is her true calling — helping make this impossibly hard cancer journey a little easier for many in our community. Stephanie, you are truly an angel in scrubs.”

“Melissa is an outstanding ambassador for our brand-new service line. She is intelligent, insightful, and proactive in her triage abilities. She has an unmatched ability to read the unease and stress in patients, the majority of whom are being seen for sudden and potentially severe conditions (such as new neck masses, sudden loss of hearing, loss of ability to speak or swallow). She comforts these patients with her softspoken and personable, yet reassuring and confident, approach.

Ear, Nose & Throat (ENT) Surgery is a very broad-reaching specialty with very complex patients, yet Melissa stepped in as the face of the practice seamlessly as if she had 20 years of ENT Surgery under her belt. She was crucial in establishing the public perception and reputation as we opened our doors for the first time.
