Robins Evans, a nine-year member of the Rotary Club of Salisbury, has been named the 2024-2025 Rotarian of the Year.

In selecting Miss Evans, club President Summers noted that since joining the club, she jumped right in and got involved on day one with volunteering for almost every single Rotary activity.  She has had perfect attendance every year, more than once served as a club officer, chaired the Scholarship Committee and the weekly speaker selection committee, rung the bells for the Salvation Army, delivered Meals on Wheels, participated in the club’s help with the Fresh Start program to benefit students, been part of the Rotary team that raised money for the Easter Seals annual walk, been part of the club’s Flags for Heroes initiative, and volunteered at the club’s A Round for the Community golf outing.  And she even took the time to become an accredited bartender at the club’s weekly meetings so the regular barkeeps could take a break.

The Rotary motto is Service above Self and Robins Evans demonstrates that attribute.  Congratulations to Robin Evans, shown on the right with club President BJ Summers.
