Last year, a group of Federal partners including the Small Business Administration, the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond, the Office of the Comptroller Currency, Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, and USDA Rural Development hosted a Rural Small Business Lending Forum in Wye Mills, MD.
We received requests to hold this event again this year on Maryland’s Lower Shore instead of in Wye Mills. In response, we’re organizing another forum in Salisbury, MD on May 10, 2018. I wanted to reach out and inform you of our plans prior to the public release of the Save the Date.
This year’s forum will highlight the resources available when helping rural entrepreneurs and small businesses secure capital. The afternoon event will include: a working lunch with a key note address, a regulator panel, a resource provider panel, and time for attendees to connect with resource providers about specific issues and/or projects.
