On January 26, 2022, the Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce Foundation Board Chairwoman, Karri Todd presented a check for $10,000 to Dr. Ray Hoy, President, Wor-Wic Community College.
The check represents the start of an endowment initiative to provide scholarships for lower shore students to pursue an associate degree in a business-related curriculum or for training and certifications in the trades. Also on hand for the presentation was Bill Chambers, member of the Foundation Board and President/CEO of the SACC.
