On Wednesday, May 13, 2020, the Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce hosted the Lower Shore Legislative Delegation for the annual Maryland General Assembly Post-Legislative Session Forum on Zoom.

Questions for the legislators ranged from the expansion of rural broadband, the future of Kirwan as a plan, and the funding of Kirwan given the COVID-19 crisis, Governor Hogan’s Executive orders during the COVID crisis among several other topics.

The webinar was moderated by Greg Reddell, Co-Chair of the Chambers’ Government and Business Affairs Committee, and the questions were developed by the Committee.

The SACC will feature the legislators again in December at the 2021 Southern Delmarva Economic Forecast ahead of the January 2021 General Assembly Session in anticipation of Bills and issues that will be front and center during the session.
