SACC Marketing & Media Committee Wants to Hear from Members

M&M Workshop FB SQ

SALISBURY, MD – The Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce Marketing & Media committee is looking for member feedback. Over the last year, the committee has presented on various marketing topics to educate chamber members on the value of different strategies to help them grow their business. Presenters focused on digital advertising, landing pages for websites, branding tactics and speakers from local companies and big brands, were booked to share their marketing insights and practices.

“We want to hear from the members on what marketing related topics they would like to learn more about,” said Jenni Pastusak, chair of the committee. “We also plan on reinitiating the PR/ER style meetings back into the mix.  This is when we solicit a business or organization to share the marketing strategies they have implemented, tell us how well they worked or didn’t work and the rest of the time, the committee brainstorms different ideas for them to consider in their future marketing plans. We take notes, bounce different ideas off each other and the participating business just listens and takes it all in. They have proven to be extremely helpful in the past.”

If you are interested in sharing your topic ideas for the committee, please answer the poll questions found here: SACC Marketing & Media Survey.

The marketing & media committee meets every 4th Wednesday of every other month. Currently the meetings are held virtually and zoom links are sent out to all who register.

The next workshop, Successful Strategic Marketing Planning featuring Heather Mahler and Victoria Kent of The Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore, will be held on February 23 at 12:00 PM.
