The Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce will host its January General Membership Luncheon featuring Ashley Duckman, Vice President of Government Affairs, Maryland Chamber of Commerce. The event will take place 11:30 AM on January 16, 2020 at the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center, in the Flanders Room.
As the VP, she leads advocacy efforts on behalf of the 4,500+ members of the Maryland Chamber before the Maryland General Assembly. On the federal level, Duckman develops, leads, and executes the legislative strategy of the organization and maintains positive working relationships with elected officials and members of the Administration to build a better understanding of business issues.
Join us as she reviews the upcoming 2020 Maryland General Assembly Session and hear more about:
- legislation that could harm Maryland businesses
- updates on implications of Kirwan funding sources
- what the Chamber and our members can do to mobilize and have our voices heard in Annapolis
