The Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce and Evolution Craft Brewing Co. are pleased to announce the Taste of the Town with Delmarva Eats, an annual event in which local restaurants participate in an “Iron Chef Competition,” showcasing their top dishes.
The 2022 Taste of the Town will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2022, from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Dove Pointe, 1225 Mt Hermon Rd, Salisbury, MD 21804.
This event is one of the most highly attended Chamber events of the year and is open to Chamber members and the public.
Restaurants may enter one of the following categories:
Simple Tastes – represents casual, light fare
Signature Tastes – represents upscale, more refined dishes
Delectable Desserts – represents the crème de la crème of Delmarva desserts
Participation is FREE to all Delmarva restaurants. Restaurants bring food samplings for attendees and attendees have one ticket in which to vote for their favorite. The participant in each category with the most votes wins their category and is presented with a plaque, cash prize, and recognition on Chamber social media and websites.
Participating restaurants are soon to be announced.
The purchase price includes unlimited food samples, one voting ticket, and one drink ticket. Advance tickets may be purchased before 5:00 PM on May 18, 2022 and are $25 for SACC members, $35 for non-members, or $45 at the door.
