Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce Celebrates Ribbon Cutting for Community Farmacy’s New Location

Ribbon cuting at the new location for Community Farmacy

Salisbury, MD — The Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce proudly co-hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony on October 1, 2025 for Community Farmacy’s new location, now at 701 E. Naylor Mill Road, Unit I.   The event marked a new chapter and ownership for the holistic wellness center, which has been a trusted resource for natural healing in our community since 1986.

Guests were warmly welcomed by new owners Teresa and Andy Davis and their attentive staff. Attendees explored Community Farmacy’s holistic approach to health and wellness, learning about their wide range of natural vitamins, supplements, CBD products, and plant-based remedies. The celebration featured a raffle with exciting prizes, and guests enjoyed light fares and home crafted mocktails.

Teresa Davis’s journey into homeopathy began 25 years ago when her daughter fell seriously ill with a tickborne illness. After years of searching for answers, Teresa discovered the healing power of acupuncture, herbal medicine, and homeopathic remedies. Her daughter’s recovery sparked a lifelong passion for holistic healing and education. When the original owners of Community Farmacy retired in 2024, Teresa – who had worked for them for a long time – stepped in to continue the mission, relocating the practice to its new home and expanding its offerings.

Davis shared with the attendees… “The front of the store here is the same as in the old Community Farmacy, but since my goal also involves educating the space where we are at now, we use for Homeopathic classes, we also have infra-red heat and the chakra stones, and once a month we have a functional medicine nutritionist available once a month.  I am the certified functional medicine health coach, and my main goal is helping kids, struggling with HDHD, autism, tick borne illness, and more.”

Today, Community Farmacy is more than a wellness store—it’s a hub for healing and education. The facility includes a quiet room with infrared therapy and a dedicated space for workshops on homeopathy. Teresa and her team work closely with families, including those navigating complex health challenges such as autism and chronic illness, offering support and guidance through natural modalities.  Their knowledgeable staff collaborate with doctors and therapists to support patients seeking a more comprehensive approach to healing beyond conventional medicine.
