The Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce will host a Maryland Democratic Gubernatorial Forum March 9 at 3 p.m. at the Wicomico County Public Library Downtown. The forum will feature the candidates running for Governor Hogan’s seat in 2018. It will be a formal panel discussion with candidates being posed questions created by the Chamber’s Government and Business Affairs Committee. These questions will relate to all sectors of interest and concern to the people of the Eastern Shore and Maryland.
Candidates in attendance will include, State Senator Richard Madaleno, Baltimore County Executive Kevin Kamenetz, Former president and Chief Executive officer of the NAACP Ben Jealous, Former Policy Director for Michelle Obama Krishanti Vignarajah, Senior Advisor for Innovation to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton Alec Ross, and Former Chairman of the law firm Venable LLP and the University System of Maryland’s Board of Regents Jim Shea.
