The Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce celebrated another successful Business After Hours event on August 14, co-hosted by Salisbury Camping & Adventure Park and SweetFrog’s – Salisbury, bringing together local professionals for an afternoon of networking, delicious treats, and exciting updates.
Guests were warmly welcomed by Jim & Gina Yannatelli of Salisbury Camping & Adventure Park and Christina Herring of SweetFrog’s, who shared inspiring stories and future plans for their businesses. From treetop challenge courses and jelly ball shooting to monthly dessert-themed events, attendees got a taste of what makes these local gems so special.
The event featured catering from Deli at Pecan Square, refreshing beverages, and a variety of decadent SweetFrog’s sundaes that helped guests cool off in style. Door prizes added an extra layer of excitement, thanks to the generosity of our hosts.
Jim Yannatelli shared the heartfelt origin of Salisbury Camping & Adventure Park: “When the opportunity came to buy this property, my wife Gina immediately said we had to—as it brought back memories from her childhood camping here with the Girl Scouts.” The park now boasts a ropes course, jelly ball shooting, cabins that sleep up to 10, and space for up to 100 campers. It’s an ideal destination for scout troops, family reunions, and retreats. The lodge is available for private events all year round.
Christina Herring highlighted SweetFrog’s commitment to offering customizable, health-conscious desserts:
“You can make it as healthy or decadent as you’d like. We offer shakes, smoothies, cookie sandwiches, and cakes—with dairy-free, no sugar added, low-fat, and nonfat options available.” SweetFrog’s hosts up to 15 events monthly, ranging from free community gatherings to themed celebrations.
