WHAT
The SACC will announce a new event taking place along the Riverwalk and in downtown Salisbury during the weekend of October 2nd through the 4th, 2015. A structured committee of community leaders and volunteers have been planning the event for over a year in coordination with Wicomico County and City of Salisbury officials to attract people from the local community as well as the Mid-Atlantic region. During its inaugural year, the celebration will take place during Salisbury University’s 27th Annual Seagull Century Ride which will provide an attraction for the visiting families of riders.

The press conference will be hosted by the Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce in coordination with Wicomico County Tourism, Wicomico County, the City of Salisbury and Salisbury University.

This premiere event will give community members and visitors an opportunity to celebrate the renaissance of downtown Salisbury through the arts, entertainment and an extraordinary experience honoring locally based initiatives throughout Salisbury and Wicomico County.
