Salisbury’s new Mayor, Jake Day, and Police Chief, Barbara Duncan visited Lower Shore Enterprises and toured the facility recently. Both the Mayor and Police Chief spent more than an hour observing individuals at work, including manufacturing and mail production in process, and greeting and speaking with employees. Their visit was one of the highlights of the day as the many individuals with disabilities shared their work experiences and personal stories with the Mayor and Chief. CEO, Bill Turner, commented, “The whole building was buzzing with excitement when everyone learned who our surprise guests were going to be. Our employees greeted them enthusiastically and both the Mayor and Chief were very generous with their time taking pictures and talking to everyone individually.”
