Salisbury Neighborhood Housing Services, Inc. Hosts Home Buyer Education Workshop and Open House as part of NeighborWorks Week, June 3-10

WHO: Salisbury Neighborhood Housing Services, Inc (SNHS), a member of the national NeighborWorks network, community members and experts in the home buying industry including lenders, realtors, insurance agents and representatives from title companies.

WHAT: SNHS will host a Home Buyer Education workshop, where staff and industry experts will explain the process of purchasing a home including everything from creating a budget, selecting a realtor and types of lending and insurance products. SNHS is also hosting an Open House for community members to meet the counselors and learn about the home buying services the organization offers to residents on the lower shore.

These events are part of NeighborWorks Week (June 3-10), when network organizations around the country organize community service projects to celebrate the successes of communities and how NeighborWorks and residents work together to enable people to enhance their lives. NeighborWorks focuses on empowering people to reach their goals of finding and maintaining secure housing, ensure financial stability and strengthening communities by making them safe and sustainable.

Home Buyer Education Courses- Free
Saturdays, June 3rd & 10th, 2023, 10am-2pm (must attend both sessions to receive certificate)

There is no cost involved but people must register to attend.
