Salisbury, MD — The Salisbury Police Department, in partnership with the Fruitland Police Department, Maryland State Police, Delmar Police Department, Pittsville Police Department, Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office, and the Office of the State’s Attorney—collectively known as Wicomico County Law Enforcement, is pleased to announce a cash reward initiative for information leading to the confiscation of illegal dirt bikes and ATV’s within the City of Salisbury and throughout Wicomico County. This initiative is part of the City’s ongoing efforts to enhance public safety and protect the well-being of our residents.

Illegal dirt bike and ATV riding on public streets in Maryland without proper registration is a violation of State law and may result in citations and/or the confiscation of illegal dirt bikes and ATV’s. These activities not only disrupt the community but also pose significant safety risks to motorists and pedestrians, increasing the likelihood of serious accidents or fatalities.

“This is a tremendous example of local law enforcement teaming up and working together to make Salisbury safer,” said Mayor Randy Taylor.

Residents with information on the storage locations of illegal dirt bikes or ATV’s are encouraged to contact the tip line at 443-359-3546 or if you witness illegal dirt bike or ATV activity, please fill out the survey here: https://survey123.arcgis.com/share/e7e7b806784d40aab3e58a1deefda489?portalUrl=https://gis.salisbury.md/portal
