Salisbury University Bids Farewell to SU Retirees

SALISBURY, MD—Salisbury University said farewell to 16 recently retired faculty and staff who have influenced thousands of students throughout the years. Together, they represent over four centuries of experience.

They are (date of hire in parentheses): Dr. Grady Armstrong (1974), Fitness and Wellness Program; Drs. Lee May (1975) and Robert Tardiff (1982), Mathematics and Computer Science Department; Sherry Cook (1986), Purchasing Office; Kathy Pusey (1987), Publications Office; Richard Culver (1988), Public Relations Office; Catiana Holbrook (1988), Edward Daubert (1989) and Bruce Bradford (2001), Physical Plant; Dr. Richard Hoffman (1993), Management and Marketing Department; Jacqueline Maisel (1997), Registrar’s Office; Stephen Ashby (1998), Information Technology Office; Dr. Robert Joyner (1998), School of Health Sciences; Timothy Sykes (2001), SU Police Department; Drs. Batya Hyman (2001) and Susan Mareski (2006), Social Work Department; and Margaret Gatti (2010), Student Health Services.
