SALISBURY, MD—Salisbury University inaugurates its ninth president, Dr. Charles Wight, during a special ceremony 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 10, in Holloway Hall Auditorium.
University System of Maryland Chancellor Robert Caret will install Wight as SU’s president during the event, featuring SU student performers as well as faculty, staff and student representatives. Wight has served as president of the University since July 1.
A reception follows on Fulton Hall Lawn.
Admission to the ceremony and reception is free, and the public is invited. Public parking is in Blackwell Lot F. Overflow parking is at the Scarborough Student Leadership Center. Both are on Camden Avenue.
