SBA Announce Closure of the Community College Business Recovery Center; Opens New Location at the American Job Center

Washington DC – The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) announced today the permanent closure of  the Business Recovery Center at the Community College of Baltimore County on Tuesday, April 30 at 4 p.m. Additionally, SBA will open a Business Recovery Center Wednesday, May 1 at 10:30 a.m. at the American Job Center located at 7930 Eastern Avenue, Baltimore. SBA continues to open Centers to assist  businesses affected by the Francis Scott Key Bridge Collapse. 

Customer Service Representatives at SBA’s Business Recovery Centers will assist business owners in  completing their disaster loan applications, accept documents, and provide status on loan applications.  The Centers will operate as indicated below until further notice.

Hours: Monday – Thursday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.   

Closed: Friday through Sunday

CareFirst Engagement Center

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.  Saturday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. 

Closed: Sunday

The filing deadline to return economic injury applications is Dec. 30, 2024.
