The Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce will host its annual SBY Restaurant Week April 9 to 15. Restaurant Week is an opportunity for restaurants in Wicomico County and the surrounding areas to attract more business and showcase their culinary talents to new and existing customers. For one week, local restaurants in the region will offer specials such as a 2-3 course, fixed priced menu. Chefs will showcase their best dishes and test cuisine creations.
Participating restaurants this year include: Brew River, Heritage Shores, Cactus Taverna, Fratelli’s, Subrunners, Chuar, Krispy Kreme, Olde Towne Deli, Adam’s Taphouse Grille, Sobo’s Wine Beerstro, Green Hill County Club, Abbott’s on Broad Creek, Evolution Craft Brewing Public House, Vibe, Boonie’s, Gilbert’s Provisions, Back Street Grill, Roadie Joe’s, Restaurant 213, Tall Tales and Specific Gravity. Menus for these restaurants are available online for preview at sbyrestaurantweek.com. Reservations are not required but recommended and vary from restaurant to restaurant.
The Chamber will also host the official launch party for Restaurant Week April 5 at 6 p.m. at the Salisbury University Art Galleries Downtown, at 212 West Main Street in Salisbury. The launch party is an opportunity for Restaurant Week goers to sample some of the creations featured by participating restaurants. The samples are unlimited, and there will be music along with beer and wine. Tickets are $15 ahead of time online at sbyrestaurantweek.com, or $20 at the door.
Throughout the week, local radio stations sponsoring Restaurant Week including Froggy 99.9, Q105, KISS 95.9, MAGIC 98.9, and Delmarva Public Radio will be giving listeners an opportunity to win tickets to the event and gift cards to various local restaurants.
