The competition was spicy and the cause was heartfelt as senior living communities in the local area came together for a “Chili Cookoff For A Cure” supporting the Alzheimer’s Association.
After an evening filled with flavor and friendly competition, BAY HARBOR POST ACUTE was crowned “Best Chili Champion” for their crowd-pleasing recipe.
The event was hosted by John B. Parsons Assisted Living and participants included Bay Harbor Post Acute, Commonwealth Senior Living and Delmar Nursing & Rehabilitation.
The event brought together residents, staff, and community members to sample, judge, and celebrate a variety of homemade chili creations. Thank you to everyone who came out, donated and participated. Together we raised over $500 for the Alzheimer’s Association, helping raise awareness and support for families affected by Alzheimer’s disease.
