ShoreLEAD Volunteer Academy

The ShoreCAN Volunteer Center is hosting a ShoreLEAD Volunteer Academy Interest Meeting Wednesday, March 12th at 10:00 a.m. at the Community Foundation Nonprofit Support Center in Salisbury.  Volunteer leaders and nonprofit representatives are urged to attend.

Join us in our mission to inspire volunteerism across Delmarva and mobilize more than 100 volunteers in projects led by people just like you!  This Academy is an exciting opportunity for aspiring volunteer leaders on the Lower Eastern Shore to develop a community project to be completed on or before Make a Difference Day – The National Day to Help Others – October 25, 2014.

Applicants must be 18 years or older.  Prior experience in volunteering, community engagement, and/or event planning will be beneficial to participants of this program, but is not required of applicants.

For application or program information, please contact Heather Towers, CFES Program Officer, at 410-742-9911 or htowers@cfes.org or visit www.cfes.org.
