Shred Day at SU April 18

Have documents to shred? Salisbury University can help.
As part of its annual Earth Week celebration, SU hosts Shred Day noon-4 p.m. Wednesday, April 18, in Red Square. Curbside pickup will be available via golf cart from all SU parking lots. Golf carts may be requested in person at Red Square.
Cost is $1 per pound, benefiting the United Way of the Lower Eastern Shore. Those bringing materials will be able to watch them being shredded on site.
Shred Day is sponsored by SU’s Student United Way chapter. The weight of paper shredded will count toward the organization’s total in that day’s Recycle Madness program, sponsored by the SU Student Government Association.
Through that event, student organizations compete to see which can bring in the most recyclables by pound. Winners receive cash prizes and bragging rights.
