Salisbury, MD The Society of St. Andrew Delmarva is proud to join the United Way of the Lower Eastern Shore on May 8 for an unforgettable community event: Over the Edge for ALICE. Participants will rappel 14 stories down the Ross Building in downtown Salisbury, taking a bold stand for local families who are working hard yet struggling to make ends meet.

ALICE — Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed — represents more than two in five households on the Lower Eastern Shore. These are our neighbors who work every day but still face impossible choices between essentials like food, housing, childcare, and healthcare. By going “Over the Edge,” we shine a spotlight on their challenges and raise critical funds to support them.

The Society of St. Andrew Delmarva is participating to help address one of ALICE’s most urgent needs: food security. Every dollar raised through our team goes directly to our local food rescue programs, ensuring that fresh, nutritious food reaches individuals and families who need it most across Wicomico, Worcester, Somerset, and Dorchester counties.

How to Get Involved

  1. Register to rappel and join our team and take the leap for ALICE!
  2. Support our fundraising team with a donation of any size.

Your involvement directly strengthens our community and helps ensure that no neighbor goes hungry.
