Bowie, MD — St. John Properties, Inc., a full-service commercial real estate development and management company, has promoted Kenneth Findley to Vice President of Development in its Southern Maryland Regional Office. Findley has worked with the company since 2015 and was formerly Development Manager.
In his continuing role with the company, Findley will oversee key aspects of the real estate development process, including permitting, design oversight, and collaborating with civil engineering, landscape design, and legal teams to assure successful outcomes. This work includes coordinating with government agencies in Charles, Prince George’s, St. Mary’s, and Wicomico counties to facilitate all entitlement and zoning requirements. Findley will also support site evaluation and due diligence activities throughout those counties in Maryland.
Key projects in the Southern Maryland Regional Office portfolio include Melford Town Center, a 1 million square foot mixed-use community in Bowie; Berry Pointe, a 600,000 square foot business park in Waldorf; Discovery District at the University of Maryland; and the California, Maryland business community Lexington Exchange, configured to support more than 600,000 square feet of space.
Findley has 20 years of commercial real estate development experience and is a licensed professional engineer. He earned a civil engineering degree from West Virginia University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Loyola University Maryland.
