Recruiting Community Teams
The Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce, Salisbury University’s Environmental Studies Department and Chesapeake Tours and Promotions, Inc. are teaming up to sponsor the 3rd Annual City of Salisbury and Wicomico County’s Stash Your Trash Cleanup Day.
SATURDAY, April 22, 2017 from 9am to 12noon
We need you and your team of volunteers!! Here is your chance to help reduce litter and clean up our rivers and roadsides. Simply ask a few friends, family members, co-workers, friends at the gym, your students or neighbors—to join you in picking up trash in a designated area Saturday, April 22nd anytime between 9am and 12noon.
It’s easy! Form your team, pick a street or location (or we can do this for you), and then contact me with your information. Gloves and trash bags will be provided to all volunteers. Pick up of filled trash bags will also be provided, if needed by your team.
We can do this! Together with just an hour or two of everyone’s time, we can make a difference and reduce litter in our community. So please, get your team together! You won’t want to miss this big event!
