SALISBURY, MD—Grace Cavalieri, poet laureate of Maryland, leads a poetry workshop for teens at Salisbury University Art Galleries Downtown 1-3 p.m. Saturday, September 21.
A public reading follows at 7 p.m., including recently appointed poet laureate of Salisbury Nancy Mitchell.
Cavalieri is the author of 20 books and chapbooks of poetry. She also has written texts and lyrics performed for opera, television and film, and has had 26 plays produced on American stages.
