SALISBURY, MD—“Travel abroad” with a Latin America immersion experience bus trip to Washington, D.C., on Friday, October 25.
Salisbury University’s Cultural Affairs Office offers the day trip which includes visits to the Organization of American States including a curator tour of the exhibit “Art of the Americas”, Cultural Center of the Inter-American Development Bank, Cultural Institute of the Mexican Embassy to the U.S. and Embassy of Paraguay where the group will be addressed by the ambassador. A Latin dinner at Sin Fronteras Café near Annapolis completes the experience.
The bus leaves the Guerrieri Student Union parking lot at 6 a.m. and returns to campus at approximately 8 p.m.
Tickets are $65 for SU students, $80 for SU faculty, staff and alumni $100 for community members. Signup begins Monday, September 30 at the Guerrieri Student Union Information Desk. Cost must be paid in full at the time of registration. Participants must complete a form with address and phone numbers as required by the embassy.
