SALISBURY, MD—Salisbury University is now offering a new way for families to stay connected to students and campus.
The SU Family Experience online portal (CampusESP), launched spring 2019, generates news alerts and content specifically for families and students.
“The family portal is an exciting opportunity to connect with families and keep them informed,” said Dr. Dane Foust, vice president of student affairs. “Offering a centralized location for campus resources allows us to engage with parents and others in a collaborative way.”
Users are able to customize content and personalize their experience based on information of interest to them. Options include academics, health and safety, housing, financial aid and university events.
CampusESP promotes interaction not only with university staff but also other families who are able to communicate through the portal blog. A digital newsletter also is available at any frequency the user chooses (daily, weekly, monthly) and combines all news and information into one email.
