SALISBURY, MD – Salisbury University celebrates its annual Fall Commencement with a Grad Walk Saturday, December 18, at the Patricia R. Guerrieri Academic Commons and Perdue Hall.
During this walk-through event, professional photographers will take formal photos as graduates have their names read while crossing the Commencement stage and receiving their SU diploma covers.
The Grad Walk will be live-streamed on the SU website for family and friends who are unable to attend in person. Streaming information will be posted closer to the event at www.salisbury.edu/commencement.
Students will be invited to participate at specific times based on academic school or program, joined by faculty and administrators.
In addition, graduates will be celebrated in a video premiering at 8 a.m. that day at www.salisbury.edu/commencement and on the University’s YouTube Channel, www.youtube.com/user/salisburyuniversity; and Facebook page, www.facebook.com/salisburyu.
Campus community members, family and friends also may submit their well wishes on the SU Class of 2021 Kudoboard at www.kudoboard.com/boards/salisbury-university-graduation-2021, which will feature messages throughout December.
Among undergraduates, 550 students receive the Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts. Some 95 graduate students receive master’s degrees. Four receive doctoral degrees.
