
Salisbury, MD — Salisbury University’s Bobbi Biron Theatre Program presents Head Over Heels Thursday-Sunday, March 6-9, in Fulton Hall’s Black Box Theatre.
Directed by Blake Harris, curtain is 7:30 p.m., 2 p.m. Sunday. Musical direction is by Dr. William Folger.
With a plot adapted from the 16th-century novel The Countess of Pembroke’s Arcadia by Sir Philip Sidney, Head Over Heels is a rambunctious musical fairy tale set to the tunes of the iconic band the Go-Go’s, including the hit songs “We Got the Beat,” “Our Lips Are Sealed” and “Vacation,” as well as Belinda Carlisle’s “Heaven Is a Place on Earth.”
The story follows members of a royal family on an outrageous journey, attempting to save their kingdom while discovering themselves and love’s true power along the way.
