SU’s Chakraborty Hosts ‘Inclusion Showcase’ Webinar July 25

Salisbury, MD – Moushumi Chakraborty, director of external library services for Salisbury University Libraries, hosts an “Inclusion Showcase” webinar, presented by the Maryland State Library for the Blind and Print Disabled (LBPD) and Maryland Accessible Telecommunications 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 25.

The presentation includes information about foundations and organizations that support Maryland residents who are blind, low vision or print disabled, or who have other disability needs, as well as free tools and resources.

Presenters include representatives from the 988 Mental Health Hotline, Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) Division of Rehabilitation Services Independent Living Older Blind Program, Foundation Fighting Blindness, Maryland Accessible Telecommunications Program, LBPD, and National Federation for the Blind.

In addition to the LBPD, the presentation is sponsored by the Maryland Department of Disabilities’ Assistive Technology Program, MSDE Division of Rehabilitation Services, and Maryland Accessible Telecommunications Equipment Distribution Program.

Admission is free and the public is invited. The webinar will be available at https://bit.ly/InclusionShowcase24. It also will be recorded for those unable to make the live presentation.
