SU’s Museum of Eastern Shore Culture Holds Poster Contest

Interior of the Museum of the Easter Shore

Salisbury, MD – “What does folklife mean to you?”

That is the question being asked of digital artists by Salisbury University’s Museum of Eastern Shore Culture during its 2024 poster competition.

The winning artist will win $500, their work will be displayed at the museum and a limited number of prints will be made available for purchase.

The theme of “What does folklife mean to you?” offers a blank canvas from which artists are able to work and create unique pieces that capture their own interpretation of folklife on the Eastern Shore.

Submissions are due by Sunday, May 19. A portion of the selection process for the winner will be completed via public voting and the winner will be announced Friday, June 21.

Sponsored by First Shore Federal, the competition is free to enter.
