Symphony 21 Returns to Salisbury University with Immersive Orchestral Performance

Salisbury, MD — Symphony 21 is set to return to Salisbury University’s Holloway Hall on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at 7:00 p.m., delivering a captivating cinematic orchestral experience. This one-of-a-kind event blends powerful music, dynamic visuals, and interactive elements, creating an unforgettable experience for audiences of all ages.

“We’re thrilled to bring Symphony 21 back to Salisbury University and share our immersive orchestral experience,” said founder Daniel J. Bowen. “This concert is more than just a performance — it’s a journey through sound and visuals that invites audiences to connect with music in a whole new way. As someone who grew up on the Eastern Shore, bringing this opportunity to  my community is incredibly meaningful. Our mission is to inspire and empower through music, and we look forward to igniting that spark in Salisbury once again.”

Founded in 2017, Symphony 21 is dedicated to inspiring, educating, and transforming the lives of young people through music and creative arts. Their innovative performances combine traditional symphonic elements with modern music styles, synchronized lighting, and visual animations, providing a fresh take on orchestral music for contemporary audiences.

The Salisbury concert will feature Symphony 21’s founder, Daniel J. Bowen, a talented pianist, composer, and arranger from the Eastern Shore of Maryland. Bowen’s impressive music career includes collaborations with Grammy and Emmy-winning producers, and features on national television broadcasts including projects for the NBA, NHL, TNT, ESPN and PBS . He brings together a team of artists from around the world to join his concerts, creating dynamic and diverse performances. Bowen’s passion for music education and accessibility inspired him to create Symphony 21, which has since impacted thousands of students and community members across the region.

The performance will showcase a curated selection of musical genres, featuring original compositions and arrangements by Bowen and nationally acclaimed artists. .  In addition to the vibrant musical showcase, Symphony 21 musicians will engage with the audience through educational demonstrations that highlight the artistry behind their performances.

Admission is FREE, and all donations and merchandise sales will support Symphony 21’s programs, which focus on enriching underserved communities with creative arts opportunities. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. for general admission seating.
