Take Steps Walk Event

Celebrate Sun Fest with the CCFA and Take Steps Toward a Cure!!!

Now in its seventh year, the Take Steps Walk for Crohn’s and Colitis is gearing up for its fall season with over 80 walks scheduled across the country. The MD/Southern DE Chapter of the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation will be hosting their local walk on September 26th at 4 pm at Northside Park in Ocean City. Take Steps walks are family friendly festivals that bring patients, health professionals and supporters together while raising mission-critical funds for research with activities for everyone including games, music, information, great food and great exposure for our corporate and healthcare partners. The walk, formerly held in Salisbury, will be joining in the festivities of Sun Fest weekend and we are working to gain the support of local businesses and attractions.

How your business can get involved

Partnership – Sponsorship for our event is a great way to increase community visibility and enhance credibility among consumers. We have options ranging from $500 – $5000. Please contact Misty Keens at 443-276-0861 x. 2 or mkeens@ccfa.org for further information, including benefits received.

Start a team – Gather your co-workers and help your company to increase its visibility, improve employee morale, foster teamwork and team building and help your staff to develop leadership skills. Joining Take Steps is a great way to rally your troops behind a cause. Setting a goal and working toward it collectively is very rewarding. For more information, please visit www.cctakesteps.org/easternshore or contact Misty Keens at 443-276-0861 x. 2 or mkeens@ccfa.org.

In-Kind Donations – Donated goods or services are crucial in helping us to reach our goals. If your company is interested in helping our walk by providing in-kind donations or discounted rates to hotels or attractions for our participants, please contact Misty Keens at 443-276-0861 x. 2 or mkeens@ccfa.org

We look forward to partnering with you to help spread awareness for Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis and to help our patients on the Eastern Shore.
