Taylor Bank Breaks Ground on New Branch in Cape Charles, Virginia

Cape Charles, VATaylor Bank officials were joined by representatives from construction management firm Gillis Gilkerson, and the Mayor of Cape Charles for a groundbreaking ceremony to celebrate the commencement of construction of Taylor Bank’s newest branch, located at 645 Mason Avenue in Cape Charles, Virginia.  The Cape Charles branch will constitute the bank’s 12th full-service branch location, in addition to its recently established Loan Production Office in Salisbury, MD.  Located across from the Cape Charles Harbor and just a few blocks from the Cape Charles beachfront, the new branch will be centrally located in the heart of the Cape Charles Main Street business district, catering to the communities banking needs by offering both in-branch and digital solutions for both personal and business customers.

Taylor Bank’s Cape Charles branch will feature teller pods, a tech station, and customer hospitality area, as well as two drive up lanes, including one for a drive-up ATM for heightened customer convenience.  Construction of the bank will be overseen by Gillis Gilkerson Executive Consultant Dwight Miller, and Superintendent Robert Meilhammer.  The bank is scheduled to be open to the public in 2025, with Shannon Satterwhite serving as the branch’s Lending and Business Development Officer, and Lisa Lewis serving as Branch Manager.
