Proceeds will help mac DELIVER more than a meal to local home-bound seniors
MAC Inc., the Area Agency on Aging, is sponsoring a golf tournament on Wednesday, May 19, at Nutters Crossing Golf Club in Salisbury.
Spend a day golfing on the beautiful Nutters Crossing golf course and help provide nutritious meals to home-bound seniors … it’s the next best thing to a hole-in-one! Team registration is under way, and sponsors are needed.
Sponsor packages are available for all levels of charitable support. Your tax-free gift will benefit MAC’s Meals on Wheels program, which provides home-delivered meals to seniors who are unable to prepare their own meals. Many of our elderly neighbors are isolated and alone and need help in securing the most basic of human necessities – food.
If you prefer to play in the event, the cost is $400 per team of four; register by March 31 for a $50 discount. Don’t have a foursome? No problem! MAC will set you up with a team. Individual registration is $125.
Tournament registration begins at 8 a.m., with a shotgun start at 9:30 a.m. A delicious lunch featuring Grilled Hawaiian Chicken and Memphis Pork BBQ, and cash prizes and other awards are planned for 2 p.m.
