The 2022 SACC Golf Classic – A Cloudy Day on the Course Is Still a Beautiful Day!

Despite threatening skies and a few raindrops, 144 golfers representing businesses and organizations from three states participated in the SACC Annual Golf Classic, presented by Spicer Brothers Construction, on Friday, September 30th at Green Hill Country Club in Quantico, Maryland.

The day began with the always popular 50/50 ball drop on the Green Hill driving range, sponsored by Choptank Electric Cooperative.

This year’s winning teams included: First Place Low Net with a score of 48 was the team from Choptank Electric Cooperative, John Allen, Matt Teffeau, Warren Ramsey, and Beau Davis; The First Place Low Gross team was Pohanka Automotive Group of Salisbury, with a score of 55. Contest winners included: Mens Longest Drive, Kevin O’Dell; Ladies Longest Drive, Jamila Johnson; Ladies Closest to the Pin, Sandy Angello; and Men’s Closest to the Pin winner, Adam Jones.
