The All-New Delmarva Job & Career Expo Draws Hundreds of Job Seekers

Room 1a

Yesterday, Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce and Quality Staffing launched the all-new Delmarva Job & Career Expo at the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center.

Businesses from across Delmarva met face-to-face with prospective employees, while job seekers were provided access to hundreds of job openings across various industries.

Free resources were available to assist job seekers in their employment search. These included a Resume Doctor and the American Job Center (AJC) Mobile Unit, which was equipped with computers, internet access, and other valuable resources to support job searching, training, and career development. Additionally, American Sign Language (ASL) interpreters, as well as Spanish and Haitian-Creole translators, were on site to provide assistance.

The Delmarva Job & Career Expo was sponsored by 47 ABC – WMDT, The Lower Shore American Job Center, Capitol Boiler Works, Chesapeake Ship Building, Coastal Home Care, David A. Bramble, Inc., and The Voice Radio Network.
