Members of The Rotary Club of Salisbury have donated hundreds of books that will be sold in April at the Friends Foundation of the Wicomico Public Library biannual book sale. These donations will raise hundreds and perhaps thousands of dollars, depending upon how many are sold and at what price. Money raised by the foundation will be used to cover library expenses not funded by the taxpayers.
The sale will be held April 17 and 18 at the downtown Salisbury Paul S. Sarbanes library.
Helping to transport the boxes of books from the Rotary Scout and Community Center to the library were Rotary Club of Salisbury members Craig Booth and three members who also are members of the Friends Foundation: Library Executive Director Seth Hershberger, BJ Summers, and foundation chairman Marty Neat.
