Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce (SACC) President and CEO Bill Chambers and Greater Salisbury Committee (GSC) President and CEO Mike Dunn recently hosted Breeze Airways Chief Financial Officer Trent Porter for a luncheon at the Greater Salisbury Committee offices.
Breeze Airways expanded passenger service at the Salisbury–Wicomico–Ocean City Regional Airport in October 2025, offering twice-weekly nonstop commercial flights to Orlando International Airport in Florida.
During the luncheon, Porter addressed a gathering of regional business and government leaders, sharing plans for continued growth in the Salisbury market. Beginning in April, Breeze will add a third weekly nonstop flight to Orlando. The airline will also launch twice-weekly service to Fort Lauderdale–Hollywood International Airport starting July 1, 2026.
Breeze Airways operates a fleet of Airbus A220 jets, each seating 137 passengers, including 12 first-class seats. Porter, who has been with Breeze since 2019, previously served in a similar role with US Airways.

“We are pleased with the strong support from the Eastern Shore for the new routes we operate,” Porter said. “Adding Fort Lauderdale is a natural expansion of service for both the community and our company.”
Porter also noted that Breeze currently serves 86 cities and has recently added five new international destinations. Future expansion plans include the potential purchase of up to 120 additional A220 aircraft and the launch of a Breeze loyalty program.
“We fly where others don’t,” Porter concluded, “and we believe our product, service, and overall travel experience are second to none in the airline industry.”
