On Friday, September 27th, chamber members and local business leaders gathered once again for the Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Golf Classic at the Green Hill Country Club in Quantico, MD.
While Mother Nature did not deliver perfect Chamber of Commerce weather, that did not dampen the spirits of the 140 golfers as they enjoyed the tournament, food, networking and fun on-course interactive holes.
This year’s tournament winners were Pohanka of Salisbury Automotive, 1st Place Low Gross; PKS & Company, P.A., 1st Place Low Net; TidalHealth, 2nd Place Low Gross; BBSI Salisbury, 2nd Place Low Net; Choptank Electric Cooperative , 3rd Place Low Gross; and Coastal Baths, 3rd Place Low Net.
Contest hole winners were Ryan DeVage, Men’s Long Drive; Kelly Carey, Women’s Long Drive; Gavin Cettes, Mens Closest to Pin; and Alex Smethusrt, Womens Closest to Pin.
Players enjoyed a bountiful breakfast provided by JoJo’s Family Restaurant. During the Awards ceremont, lunch was provided compliments of Chaney Enterprises, Goosehead Insurance – Melissa Geeslin, The Talk of Delmarva – WGMD 92.7 and 98.5, and Lunch/Snack Sponsor Veronica James – ERA Martin Associates, Salisbury MD. Sponsors Eastern Shore Distributing and Pepsi Bottling Ventures provided beer and beverages.
