On Wednesday, April 24, 2024, the Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce will welcome the Lower Eastern Shore Delegation members at the 2024 Maryland General Assembly Post Legislative Session Forum, presented by the Tri-County Council for the Lower Eastern Shore of Maryland. The event will be held at 11:30 AM at the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center, DaNang Room.
Regional business and organizational leaders will hear from the members of the Delegation on legislation that impacts the business community from this year’s session.
Topics the senators and delegates will address include additional climate change legislation, Family Medical Leave adjustments, data privacy legislation, juvenile crime legislative changes, Moore administration budget challenges, and many other pieces of legislation that favorably or unfavorably impact the business community.
The SACC Board Chairman and Mountaire Farms Community Relations Manager, Zach Evans, will moderate the event.
The luncheon is sponsored by 47abc WMDT, Chesapeake Utilities, Salisbury University, University of Maryland Eastern Shore, and Wor-Wic Community College.
