On October 26, 2023, at 11:30 AM, the Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce will celebrate business and organizational excellence at the Annual Awards Luncheon at the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center. Wicomico Recreation Parks & Tourism will also present its Annual Tourism Awards.
The SACC Annual Awards event recognizes and honors the achievements and efforts of outstanding leaders of the Delmarva area. This is an opportunity to network and celebrate the amazing achievements of our member businesses, community partners, and individuals.
The award categories include Member Volunteer of the Year, Ambassador of the Year, Small Business of the Year, Medium Business of the Year, Large Business of the Year, Business Professional of the Year, Environmental Service Award, Agriculture Ambassador of the Year, and Non-Profit Organization of the Year. The New Business of the Year Award category has been added this year, and any business that is nominated must have been established in or after October 2021.
The SACC Hall of Fame Award (formerly known as The Chamber Award) will also be presented. This award is reserved to acknowledge an individual that has demonstrated a history of career achievement, a sustained commitment to the advancement of our region through their unselfish leadership, a commitment to making a difference, and unparalleled professionalism among their peers in the community.
The awards ceremonies will be emceed by Zach Evans, Community Relations Manager, Mountaire Farms.
The 2023 Annual Awards Luncheon is sponsored by BBSI, BEACON at Salisbury University, Delmarva Power, Dave and Patsy Rommel Center for Entrepreneurship, Effectv, The Franklin Perdue School of Business, Maryland Capital Enterprises, Maryland Small Business Development Center, Perdue, Piedmont Airlines, Pohanka of Salisbury, Seagull Disposal, and TidalHealth.

Advance registration is required. Tickets are $35 for members, $45 for non-members, or $350 for a reserved table of 8, and may be purchased by visiting salisburyarea.com. A full buffet lunch will be served.
