The Salvation Army of the Lower Eastern Shore to Host Annual Red Shield Golf Tournament Supporting Human Need in the Community

Salisbury, MD — July 29, 2025 — The Salvation Army of Salisbury, the charitable non-profit that has served the Lower Eastern Shore since 1913, announced its annual Red Shield Golf Tournament set to take place on Friday August 15, 2025, at Green Hill Country Club, Quantico, MD. This will be a fun day of golf and comradery with fellow community leaders and individuals raising much-needed funds for families and individuals in need. The Salvation Army also hosts a variety of organized sports programs for youth, as well as after-school and summer camps, in our Red Shield Youth Centers.

The tournament features a four-person scramble, with registration beginning at 8 AM and plays beginning at 9 AM. Players will enjoy a day on the green, with contests including hole-in-one, longest drive, and closest to the pin.

We remain committed to supporting programs that strengthen and uplift local families.”

Registration is now open. Entry includes green fees, cart, breakfast, lunch, swag bag, and access to the awards ceremony. Sponsorship packages are also available for businesses looking to support our mission.
