Salisbury, MD – July 9, 2020 – The Salvation Army, Lower Eastern Shore has rescheduled the annual “Fore The Kids” golf tournament to October 16, 2020. The annual golf tournament raises much needed funds in support of youth and family programs.

The event will be held at the Green Hill Country Club in Quantico, MD, starting at 8 a.m. with a shotgun scramble to start. Following play there will be lunch, awards and silent auction.

The tournament is a vital component of The Salvation Army’s annual campaign to raise funds and create awareness of its programs. Corps Officer Capt. Matthew Trantham says “Events like this allow us to continue to financially support our initiatives while also generating excitement around opportunities to support our local youth programs.”

Gather your family, friends, and colleagues; individual and foursome teams are now forming starting at $175 for an individual and $700 for a foursome team. Register to play or become a sponsor to help us raise money and continue providing a safe place for local children to learn, grow, and play!

The Salvation Army, Lower Eastern Shore provides age appropriate, evidenced based programming to more than 1,000 youth each year. The youth have a safe, educational, and inspiring environment where they are encouraged to set goals and reach for their dreams. The funds generated from annual campaigns like the golf tournament allow us to continue to serve our youth, support local families, and provide fun and safe environments to vulnerable youth and underserved populations.
